Mochiko Chicken — a Hawaiian-style deep-fried chicken made with mochiko (sweet rice flour) for that light, crunchy bite. It’s similar to Japanese karaage, but a little sweeter thanks to honey in the marinade. This comfort food is perfect as an appetizer or served with a bowl of rice and veggies for dinner. Get the recipe from the link in bio. Mochiko Chicken Recipe: https://www.japanesecooking101.com/mochiko-chicken-recipe/ | Japanese Cooking 101

If you ask me why I go to Queen Kaʻahumanu Center, BRADDAH, it’s for Ramen Ya! 🍗🍛 This is my absolute favorite spot to get my mochiko chicken fix on Maui! The price, generous portions, and ono flavor have won my heart. I don’t know what makes their mochiko chicken better than everyone else’s, but I know THIS is where I’m going when the craving hits! 😂 Served with two big scoops of white rice and mac salad, I love hitting that chicken with Tabasco and asking for a bowl of ketchup on the side f

In honor of being back in Hawaii 🌺🌴☀️ — I’m sharing my Mochiko Fried Chicken recipe!! The Mochiko flour gives the chicken an extra CRUNCH while being so juicy! Hawaiians usually pair it with Mac salad and rice but I think it’s amazing with my garlic sriracha dipping sauce and a sprinkling of furikake! Find the full recipe with all my key tips on the blog - link in my profile! #cjeatsrecipes #easyrecipes #cookingvideo #recipevideo #asianfood #friedchicken #hawaiianfood
